Hi, I'm Adrienn Lőrincz. I'm a Digital Product Designer with nearly 20 years of experience creating meaningful user experiences. My journey uniquely combines UX/UI design, marketing communication, and a little bit of teaching—a blend that helps me craft digital products that educate, engage, and inspire. Originally from Budapest, Hungary, I now live in the Munich area in Germany, bringing an international perspective to my work.

My Journey  Before diving into digital design, I taught basics of economics in English in a bilingual high school, where my students excelled in national and international competitions. But my creative roots run deep—I've always loved drawing, from my favourite art classes in school to continuing to draw for personal enjoyment throughout my adult life. My first encounter with web design came during my university years studying British and American Literature and Linguistics. A seminar on website translation and HTML opened my eyes to the digital world—though at the turn of the century, websites were far from beautiful. That first exposure to HTML sparked something in me; I became determined to prove that websites could be both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

This natural inclination toward visual expression, combined with my short but eventful teaching experience, gave me invaluable skills in communication, public speaking, and breaking down complex concepts for different audiences. It also ignited my passion for marketing communication, leading me to pursue a career in digital design.

My design journey truly began at Chili Creative Solutions, a vibrant digital studio I co-founded with friends (after finishing my postgraduate studies in marketing communication) where I spent a decade leading innovative projects. After welcoming my child in 2018, I transitioned to freelancing, taking on various UX/UI design projects and consultancy roles. In 2020, a friend approached me with an exciting opportunity that would become one of my most impactful projects yet. Together, we founded Pink Fox Games, where I served as head of design and product designer for creating Happy Little Planet—an educational app and platform transforming sustainability concepts into engaging games and classroom activities for children. Working with former UN experts and early childhood educators, we reached 25,000+ users and earned selection for Techstars' Anjal Z Founder Catalyst Program. This venture perfectly combined my passions for education, design, and creating meaningful impact.

Currently, I'm co-founder and creative lead at Liimmi (Austria), where I oversee everything from brand identity to UX/UI design for e-commerce platforms and educational materials. I also bring my expertise to an innovative sports ERP project, designing both a management system for trainers and educational games that teach young athletes about teamwork and spatial awareness.

My Design Process

While each project's unique needs shape my specific approach, my design process is rooted in pragmatic problem-solving and thoughtful collaboration. I believe in creating solutions that not only delight users but also align with business objectives and technical realities.

1. Understanding the Big Picture  I start by examining challenges from multiple angles—considering user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. This comprehensive view helps create solutions that work for everyone involved. Through a combination of research methods, both qualitative and quantitative, I build a solid foundation for decision-making.

2. Strategic Framework  Rather than jumping straight to visual solutions, I focus on establishing clear frameworks that guide design decisions. This approach ensures that every choice serves both immediate needs and long-term objectives. Regular testing and iteration are crucial parts of my process, though their scope adapts to project constraints and resources.

3. Collaborative Approach  I thrive on collaboration, whether it's conducting workshops to align stakeholders, regular check-ins with development teams, or user testing sessions. This ongoing dialogue helps bridge the gap between complex functionality and intuitive user experience.

4. Beyond Surface Design  My process goes deeper than creating attractive interfaces—it's about crafting experiences that solve real problems. By synthesising user research, business requirements, and technical capabilities, I develop solutions that are not just beautiful but meaningful and implementable.

If you're looking for a designer who balances user-centered thinking with business goals, who plans rather than just imagines, and who values collaboration and strategic thinking reach out to me—let's create something extraordinary together!
